Brookdale Golf Club Wedding DJ & Lighting. This wedding was in September 2016 for the lovely Nichola & Lee. We had our initial meeting back in August 2015. Now I hold the date for 7 days after but they only needed 2. And once you seen the pictures, you can see their faith wasn’t misjudged. It was an awesome night.

The First Dance

When we had our chat, they expressed an interest in having a song that not many people have had. Alternate versions, covers, acoustic and other where mentioned, but we parted with ideas shared. Nearer the time they proposed this and I have to say a truly inspired choice. I cut out the ‘talking’ at the beginning, and faded out the screaming at the end. So I hand over to the beautiful Over & Over Again  -Nathan Sykes. The wedding party & guests where invited to join in halfway through. This was followed by Faith Hill – There You’ll be. This gave everyone plenty of time to share the love before the party started.

 

Party Time

The playlist they had built up online consisted mainly or Chart, Urban, Dance and Old Skool Dance. Most of this went fine, but the Old Skool didn’t really go on this occasion, so rather than persevere, we changed tack and got everyone going again. This is why I also say I’ll take your playlist requests and ideas, but I always retain ‘creative control’ . You just don’t know until the night what is going to work and what won’t. Anyway, Floor was full all night and great times was had. Maniac – Michael Sembello a particular crowd favorite with the hand and finger gestures 🙂 .

Last Dance

As with any party when everyone is ‘up for it’ the end always comes round too soon. And tonight was no different. Midnight rolled it’s way around in no time so up stepped Take That – Never Forget. As requested by the bride & groom to finish the night. It never fails to get everyone up, singing, hands in the air giving the B&G the best send off for the day. When something works as well as  this, I don’t mind playing it alot! Just an awesome response for the happy couple.

 

Finally

Love Brookdale Golf Club, especially with the veranda for views across the greens, and into Manchester. I have set-up fairy lights around the railing before (see here) and festoons over head would look a treat too. So whatever you’d like weather it’s just my Wedding DJ services or a lighting & DJ package. Just get in touch and you too can have the best fun on your special day.
