Coddys Farm is a fantastic working farm on the edge of Holmfirth, West Yorkshire which other than a fab venue has some stunnig views acroos the hills. This was my first visit to Coddys and I hope it’s not my last if this wedding is anything to by.
First Dance
After the meal in the mainhouse, they happy couple across to the barn and surrounding area for drink, cocktails and generally relax before the evening festivities went ahead. SO after playing some tune to get people warmed up on in the inside we went ahead with the cake cutting, Father daughter dance and on to the first dance which was Oasis – She is Love
Party time at Coddys Farm
We then drove around the decades and genres they had requested from Motown & Soul to disco and eighties and chart . I mean the dancefloor was never empty but but it really came alive with Urban, Indie and dance came round. Dancefloor got rammed, Bride & groom on the stage conducting the crowd, it was awesome! Sterring the party around the playlist and guidlines they had requested and avoiding the DO NOT PLAYS as well.
Last Dance
Unfortunately the last dance came round way to quickly, which always happends when you’re having a good time, but alas it needed to happen. On this occasion the bride and groom had requested a specific song for last dance of the night, and it was with who we started the night and it Oasis – Masterplan . And it went down a storm, arms out wide, everyone signing along. But unfortunately it wasn’t enough. Normally I get told by the venue finish dead on time. But thi crowd were so awesome and no one from the venue was there as we finished, so with chants of “one more song” ringing out from all corners, I succumed to just one more song. It was off the playlist and I had played it earlier but a coulpe fo bridesmaids & the maind of honour had missed it, soooooo on it went again DJ Fresh – Gold Dust . Crazyness ensumed, hence the bridesmaid on the shoulders on some of the images.

So good tunes all night, great memories made, just another aweome wedding I had the privalge of entertaining at. Lovely venue, fantastic crowd and a beautiful happy couple. After being deffered due to covid it was definatly worth the wait! Coddys Farm wedding DJ Service – Pictuers below .
