Wedding In The Exchange Rochdale Town Hall
Wedding DJ Service for The Exchange Rochdale Town Hall. This was a wedding I did in August 2017 in the The Exchange Area of Rochdale Town Hall. I played here a month prior and thought these arches would look good with some uplighting, so I put a couple in around where I set the Disco up to add a little mood lighting. They worked a treat. As it was a late wedding I was booked to play during the meal so as to cause no distraction when I did set-up. It also allowed me to play what the couple wanted during the meal. They could then use my microphones for speeches. Plus we could get dancing sooner! Which is never a bad thing if you ask me 🙂 .
Wedding DJ Review
Hi David, Friday was an amazing day from beginning to end! Thank you so much for your part in making that happen. The photos are great as well, an unexpected bonus. We won’t hesitate to recommend you to anyone in need of a DJ.
Thank you once again.

The First Dance
As the room was already set to go, we did the speeches, then in to the cake cutting once the meal was over. From there we did the 1st dance. I invited the Bride & Groom to the dance floor, started the song and then pretty much straight away invited everyone else on to join them. And they did. Well it’s hard not to when your first dance is Ain’t Nobody – Chaka Khan .
Party Time
The Playlist provided by the happy couple was fairly varied but there was a large portion of Eighties soul – no surprise there after their fist dance choice. Old Skool Dance and some Reggae & Ska was among the larger selections other than chart and disco. Basically we had quite a selection of music even if most was part of the ‘normal’ stuff I play. Didn’t matter either way as every one enjoyed and had a blast! .
Final Dance
Their last dance of the evening was a personal favourite of theirs and something I didn’t get round to playing during the evening. So rather than playing it with stuff that didn’t go, I held on until the last song to make it memorable. It was the first time it was the first time I had been asked to play this song, let alone as a last song but that’e me. Happy to play what you want, so on it went.  Eddie Murphy  – Party All The Time
