Hobbit Hill Wedding DJ
I got booked for this mid-week wedding by the lovely Raluca & Jake for their special day at the fabulous Hobbit Hill , Lancashire in January 2022. Roll around 6 months later the special day is here and good times are set to be had!
As with all my clients they received their online planner which allows them to add their music for the day. And on this occasion I only supplied with about 30 songs, which left room for on the night requests and plenty of room for me to fill between the spaces.
The First Dance
Their first dance was The Flamingos – I only have eyes for you which surprisingly i hadn’t used for a first dance before so loved that! With that we we’re off, and I played and they danced to a little bit of everything from seventies to charts, including the cha cha slide & and Gangnam style which were on the night requests, and went down a storm!
As per the norm with mid-week weddings, a fair few left before the end but we had enough to celebrate the last few songs of the night including the happy couples last dance of the night request of the Northern Soul classic Frank Wilson – Do I love ( Indeed I do)
All that’s left for me to say is I wish all the best to Raluca & Jake on their new life together, and I’m glas I could play a small part on their special day. I also hope to come back to Hobbit Hill again as it’s a wonderful new wedding venue in the middle of the Ribble Valley, Lancashire, with great views and lovely staff who made me feel very welcome.
