I was booked for an event at Lancashire Cricket Club, Emirates Old Trafford, for a wedding in September 2015. It was the first time I had played back here in around 8yrs, and it was good to be back.

Uplighting

I provided the room up-lighting which was purple. This was installed in the morning, but left turned off. This way when the room was turned around after the wedding breakfast, the lights would be turned on, and it would really create a WOW effect for the day guests as well as the evening arrivals.

The First Dance

This was the first time of playing this song for a first dance. It was a cover of One Directions Little Things by Alyssa Shouse & Jonah Marais. Really suited the first dance moment, was beautifully received. Really created a memorable moment.

Party Time

Basically we had a smidgen of pap / urban chart music at the start then we had a nothing but dance music for the rest of night. Started with some Deep house , and then EDM / Trance but basically the place was jumping from start to finish! A lot of chart tunes but also remixs of chart and other songs like Mr. Brightside by The Killers but the Philthy & Steves Remix . Another personal favourite from the night was Ping Pong – Armin Van Buuren (Hardwell remix) .

Last Dance

The happy couple hadn’t requested a specific song to finish the night off with so even thou I played a ‘last song’ I knew i’d get one more, one more” So the final song of the night was Afterglow – Wilkinson (Dyro Remix) – like this but different – can’t find the actual remix to link too. Anyway the room was jumpin’ and we finished on a high!
