Old Grammar School Wedding DJ
I was the Old Grammar School Wedding DJ in Middleton, on a gorgeous August Bank Holiday Sunday, in 2015. I was booked to provide background music on arrival and throughout the meal, plus the evening disco party music.
On arrival I played a selection swing, smooth Jazz and easy listening, then through the 2nd half of the afternoon until near starting the party I played a selection of acoustic and acoustic covers, as per the Bride & Grooms request. I started with about an hour of the children ruling the dance floor with requests, whilst the adults where mingling, chilling and greeting.
The First Dance
The First dance was Elbows – One day Like This which was great to hear as I hadn’t heard or played in ages. With the happy couple starting of the song. We then had the guests joining in after a couple of minutes to share the moment, and what a lovely moment it was.
Party Time
We had a little bit of everything throughout the evening, from sixties through to chart with a little rock thrown in for good measure. Basically making sure everyone had a good night.
Thank you so much David you were fantastic at our wedding yesterday. Played fantastic tunes and everyone had a fantastic time dancing the night away we even had family members up dancing who normally stay sat down all night. You did an amazing job and nothing was too much trouble would highly recommend.
