Tanya & Paul’s Rochdale Town Hall Wedding
The 1st of 2 weddings in 2017 so far here at the fabulous Rochdale Town Hall Wedding venue. I arrived and set-up in the morning on this occasion as the couple were having their wedding breakfast in the great hall along with the evening reception. So to stop any distractions we arranged for the morning set-up so I could just turn up and press play once I had arrived.
The First Dance
The Toastmaster organsied the 1st Dance along with the small folk group who were singing the 1st dance. I was to take over after the first dance. Their song of choice was Shut up and dance – Walk the moon but obviously it was a slower softer version and beautiful too. Made a real change and was a great way of making their 1st dance their own. Approximately half way through, the brides maids etc grabbed the parents and they joined in as well.
Party Time
I took over straight after the 1st dance and soon got stuck into their playlist. Playing a bit of chart, party, eighties, nineties, dance, indie, rock and a little bit of Jamiroquai. This one guy had to wait for it as it really didn’t fit any earlier but once it came on he was over the moon!!! So for the classic remix Click the link .
The last hurrah
Unfortunately with everyone having a great night, me included, the time flew by, and the end of the night came round. So using songs on their playlist and a couple of requests I would them up finishing with Don’t stop me now – Queen followed by Don’t Stop Believing – Journey . This produced the desired effect of hands in the air, singing at the top of their lungs and giving the new Mr & Mrs Parker the send off the day deserved. This then resulted in the stage at Rochdale Town hall getting stormed. GOOD TIMES!!!
