Now originally I got booked here at The Woodstock Didsbury, for the wedding in March 2022 of then new Mr & Mrs Marshall. We had a fantastic night – don’t we always – but I hadn’t taken my camera, hence no blog post, dag nam it!!! But… one of the guests at that wedding was Andy. Andy had enjoyed my set so much he wanted me to DJ at his and his mates Jack joint 40th Birthday party. So that leads me to this blog post about the The Woodstock!
Luckily, both guys had a similar taste in music and with a fantastic crowd we had an absolute blast on the night. The first couple fo hours more meet & greet with some food so background-ish tunes from indy/alt section of the nineties. Then we got the party going with older classics for the families etc to get their dancing shoes on with. Then for the last couple of hours we had the nineties and early 2000’s Indie, Alt and Madchester tunes.

Everyone was up for it and great times were had and dancefloor memories made. It was a fantastic night with great choons, lots of dancing and good tmes had. Some of the songs on their playlist included – Common Peoiple – Pulp / Animal Nitrate – Sude / Transmission – Joy Division / Day We Cought The Train – Ocean Colour Scene / Once In A Lifetime – Talking Heads, just for a sample. Finished up with the double wammy of Champagne Supernova – Oasis and I am The Ressurection The Stone Roses!
So that’s 2 great nights at The Woodstock in Didsbury Manchester and apart from the stairs i’d love to go back again. So wether it’s a wedding, 40th Birthday or engament give me a shout, i’d love to discuss your music for the night.
