Albert Square Chop House Wedding DJ

Albert Square Chop House is situated in the opposite corner of the Town hall, right in the centre of Manchester. I played here in August 2016, and what a great time we had. Normally I’d mention about how using my online planner to plan your night is a great useful tool. But i’d be lying at this wedding. All I had to go with after a phone calls with the groom. I was given 1st dance, might have a Father & daughter, and 2 songs for the evening.  Due to my own ability to of being able to take requests, read a crowd, and go with the flow, we still had a great night. Regardless of how little specific music information I had received before hand.

Wedding First Dance

The 1st Dance was Paul Weller’s cover of Sister Sledges’ – Thinking Of you . The bride & groom started dancing on their own. The guests were asked to join in with the 1st dance, shortly after the start. This type of 1st dance has been the most popular for 2016. After this we went straight into the party.

Party Time

As the wedding had over run, we didn’t have as much time as originally planned. Bacon butties were served straight after the 1st dance so the dance floor was a bit thin to start with. But there was always someone dancing on the floor. Then we really got going through to midnight.  Alexandra O’Neal, House of Pain – Jump around, Alison Limerick – Where love Lives and more ‘Soulful House’ music, where the only requests before the night.
