This one is a blast from the past. This wedding was from 2010 when I played here at Farington Lodge and what an awesome night it was. Bearing in mind I’m writing this in 2015, I always remember the 1, 2 of the 1st dances due to the re-action of the bride and groom and their guests.
First Dance 1+2

The 1st dance was Set down your glass – Snow Patrol. I loved this song of the album A million Stars, and this still remains the only time I’ve played this song for a 1st dance. This was for the bride and groom only. We followed this with Elbow – One Day like this. (this links to one of my favourite versions). This is where all the guests joined in and really created togetherness and a party atmosphere.

The rest of the evening was taken up with lots of dancing. We had an Irish set, some party classics and some classic rock. So everything from Take That to Lynyrd Skynyrd and from Queen and black eyed Peas and some Saw doctors. Everything on playlist they were dancing too, and everything i threw on on top as well. Even though it’s a bit of a drive it was one those night that I was still buzzing from on arrival home.
