On The 7th is another fantastic venue in the Eclectic chain of Hotels. I have been The Wedding DJ at Great John St, On the 7th and I have installed wedding venue lighting at Didsbury house. It is situated on the 7th Floor (Surprise!) of Blue, Media city Salford.

To me as your Wedding DJ it is all about the music. Your Music! I supply you with your own online planner that among other things allows you you build your personal playlist for the day and or night. You can input high priority, play if possibles, let your guests request music. I’m happy to accept Do Not Play songs which I think is just as important. I take your music and make it flow through the evening. A few of my own choices if needed, will be added to make it work as we move from genre to genre song to song, making sure you and your guests have the best time!
That doesn’t mean I can’t play without one. I have been DJing for over 20yrs, so I have plenty of experiance of playing from my own knowledge and taking requests on the night. So however you want to do it, I am more than capable of playing it your way.

As it’s a wedding I know it’s all about filling the dance floor with sound and lights not the room. Obviously with On the 7th the part room is side on to the main room, but that still doesn’t mean I need to bring in truck loads of equipment. As you can see from the pictures I bring enough to the job. And remember you don’t want stacks of speakers and lots of light rigging. This will be the backdrop to your 1st dance. So a nice starlight booth, some computer controlled colour wash lighting, and enough digital sound to kick it when needed. It’s a wedding not a mini festival!
