Manchester Palace hotel Bride

The Palace Hotel in Manchester City is one of the most feature rich Hotels in Manchester. Having played or set up lighting in 3 of the main rooms it’s always looked fantastic as well as having great nights. I have performed at a couple of weddings in both The Whitworth Suite & The Buckingham Suite and 2 Graduation Balls in the Grand Room, 1 just DJ, the other just lighting. I have kept the photo gallery for the weddings with 1 lighting picture (The green one below).

The 1st Wedding I did was for a couple who where at another wedding I entertained at. This is always a good feeling – that you know you are doing it right. first dance was Valentines Day – James Taylor . Then I had a free reign and as you can tell, everyone danced during the night.

Prices & Availability

The 2nd wedding was also held in the Whitworth Suite but I was set up in a different position. This wedding was on Christmas Eve which is a new one on me. Their 1st dance was a lovely cover Can you feel the love tonight – Nina . The rest of playlist consisted of party classics from all eras. A great night was had by all and I remember packing up and loading leaving them all to play ‘Human Chess’ ala Harry Potter on the dance floor.

This next wedding was in the Buckingham Suite where I also installed some up-lighting on different colours. Their 1st Dance was One Day Like This – Elbow and the rest of the playlist was mainly, Eighties, Nineties and chart. Had an absolute blast, and so did the happy couple.
