Worsley Park Marriott

On Saturday I had the great privilege of supplying the music for Leanne & John’s wedding at Worsley Park Marriott Hotel  in the Ellesmere suite. I provided the Purple venue lighting and the Wedding DJ Service. I installed the venue lighting during the morning, s it was all on and ready for when they arrived. On this occasion I also set-up the Disco so all I need to do was Rock -up in th evening, turn on and press play 🙂

The idea is the early background music is there to warm people up on the inside, while the everyone relaxes, and the evening guests arrive. Tonight thou, people where dancing to the B/G so I knew we were going to have a good ‘un. 😀

The First Dance

So on to the 1st dance which was a great acoustic version of Gravity by DJ Fresh Feat Ella Eyre. It was really powerful, and really captured the guests attention. They then had the bridal party join from around halfway through. We then had a 2nd slow song which was A million Love songs by Take That. This was dedicated to the Brides Mother.

 

Party at the Park – Worsley Park that is…..

As mentioned above, they really wanted to get going so we did, and we stayed going all the way through the night. Whether I was playing some Disco, Motown and Northern Soul or when I was throwing some Urban, R&B and Chart tunes, the floor was packed all night. Proud Mary was a great one with the guests really throwing some shapes!

Last Dance

The last dance of the evening seemed to fly round, which is always the case when it’s non-stop. So we gathered everyone together on the dance floor – I think the guests where thinking something traditional. But they where pleasantly surprised when it wasn’t what they were expecting. So to the request of Leanne & John we started Blurred Lines – Robin Thicke . Wasn’t long before everyone was getting down and funky at 1 am. Went down a treat!!

And Finally…

So another great night at Worsley Park Marriott, Some great tune, great memories, and a great couple. And as little note, I happened to bump in David Stubbs.
